Watford 0-1 Blackburn:
In a surprising turn of events, Blackburn managed to snatch a 1-0 victory against Watford, extending the latter’s winless streak to four games across all competitions. It was a classic smash-and-grab performance, leaving Watford fans in dismay and Blackburn supporters ecstatic.

Ipswich 3-4 Leeds:
Leeds United showcased their resilience by coming from behind to clinch a thrilling 4-3 victory against Ipswich. It was a seven-goal spectacle that had fans on the edge of their seats, marking Leeds’ first three points of the season.

Coventry 0-0 Sunderland:
Two of last season’s Championship play-off semi-finalists, Coventry and Sunderland, battled it out in a match that ended in a goalless draw. Both teams had their moments but failed to find the back of the net.

Birmingham 2-1 Plymouth:
Birmingham City continued their unbeaten start to the season with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Plymouth. Substitute Jay Stansfield emerged as the hero, netting a superb winner in the dying seconds of the match.

West Brom 4-2 Middlesbrough:

Huddersfield 0-4 Norwich:
Norwich City continued their impressive form with a dominant 4-0 victory over Huddersfield. David Wagner’s return to the John Smith’s Stadium was marred by his team’s lacklustre performance, as the Canaries ran riot.

Cardiff 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Ryan Wintle emerged as the hero for Cardiff City, coming off the bench to secure a dramatic 97th-minute victory with a penalty, marking Cardiff’s first win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Sheffield Wednesday. The match seemed destined for a draw until a controversial handball decision against former Cardiff player, Will Vaulks. Referee Darren Bond was convinced it was a handball, allowing Wintle to confidently convert the penalty, granting new manager Erol Bulut his inaugural Championship win.

Preston 2-1 Swansea

Preston North End secured a 2-1 victory over Swansea City, marking their third consecutive Championship win. Duane Holmes was the hero for Preston, scoring the winning goal. Swansea, still in search of their first win under new manager Michael Duff, started the game on the front foot but couldn’t capitalize on their chances.
